Take your practice deeper
Deepen your understanding and experience of meditation and Buddhism. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, has designed three study programs that form the core of Kadampa Buddhism, being the General Program, Foundation Program and Teacher Training Program. This contemporary approach to the study and practice of Buddhist meditation and insight into how to solve our problems, reach our full potential, and find real peace and happiness, is taught in a way that is relevant for all.
The Foundation Program (FP) is open to everyone and you can join at any point in the year. Through in-depth study and practice we learn how to integrate Buddha’s wisdom into our normal daily life. In this way we gradually find deep inner peace and happiness. The Foundation Program offers a structured approach to learning Buddhist meditation and practice through the study of a particular book. Classes consist of chanted prayers, guided meditations, teachings and discussion. For those outside Dublin, you can participate on this program via correspondence.
Foundation Program FAQs
The Foundation program is focused on the study of the book entitled ‘The new heart of wisdom’. This book offers a road map to realising the profound inner peace and happiness that comes from exploring the true nature of things, which Buddha described as a state of limitless possibility, known as emptiness. To see if the foundation program suits your needs, we are offering a free 3-week trial for those who may be interested. If you are interested, just drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This text reveals the profound meaning of the very heart of Buddha’s teachings – the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras. The author shows how all of our problems and suffering come from our ignorance of the ultimate nature of things, and how we can abandon this ignorance and come to enjoy pure, lasting happiness through a special wisdom associated with compassion for all living beings.
The Foundation Program fee is €40 per month. By joining the Foundation Program, you will enjoy the benefits of Centre membership. This entitles you to free access to all classes at the Centre and discounts on certain events.

Teacher Training FAQs
The TTP will begin the study of ‘Mahamudra Tantra’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso on April 25. This inspiring text is a clear and simple manual for practising Mahamudra Tantra – the quick and profound method for uncovering the deepest levels of peace and happiness within our own mind.
Mahamudra is the union of great bliss and emptiness – the most subtle mind that experiences great bliss and realizes ultimate truth, the way things actually exist. From his practical experience, Geshe Kelsang explains in this book, how to prepare our mind for Mahamudra meditation, how to remove obstacles to successful practice, and how we can experience progressively subtler states of mind. By explaining how to uncover and purify the deepest level of our mind and to use this very subtle blissful mind to meditate on ultimate truth, he shows how we can find freedom from all our negative minds at their very root and quickly reach the state of the supreme and lasting peace and happiness of full enlightenment.
