FALL FESTIVAL 2022 - WISDOM & DEVOTION
GREEN TARA EMPOWERMENT

Join us for a week of truly inspirational talks and meditations with internationally renowned meditation teacher Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong from Oct 14 - 20, at the beautiful World Peace Temple, in upstate New York.

Gen-la will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Green Tara and give special teachings on the sublime twenty-one homages based on a transmission she received directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Gen-la is the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, and Resident Teacher and Special Teacher Training Programme Teacher at Manjushri KMC. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over thirty-five years, sincerely training under his guidance in all aspects of Kadam Dharma. Gen-la is recognized as a fully qualified Dharma Teacher of both Sutra and Tantra.

We can all feel stuck in a rut at times, feeling we lack positive energy or direction to our days. However, it is possible to step out of that rut, and genuinely feel like we are truly flourishing and deeply enjoying our lives, from the inside-out.

In this meditation workshop with Kadam Adam (Principal Teacher of Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre) – through talks and guided meditations – we will learn proven meditations and practises for daily life to help us accomplish this.

We will explore how the art of flourishing in life starts with developing a growing confidence in our potential for positive change in our hearts and lives, from the inside-out. We will explore how aligning this new found sense of our potential for change with an understanding of Karma, can help anyone create a life of deeper peace, happiness and good fortune.

Through this, each day we will feel a growing sense of positive energy, purpose and direction to our life, confident in the knowledge that one day at a time, we are creating the peaceful, happy, and fulfilling life we have always longed for.
