Being True to Yourself
It’s a common challenge for all of us at times, that niggling feeling of regret that we are not being consistently true to ourselves. Maybe it’s the feeling we are making decisions for our life based on what others, or society, say we should do. Maybe it’s the feeling we are compromising our deepest held values or not saying what we really think, just to fit in, whether it’s with friends, on social media or at work.
In this series of drop-in meditation classes with Kadam Adam at Tara KMC, Templeogue – which are suitable for everyone – we will explore meditations and practices for daily life that will help us resolve this inner conflict.
We will explore how to connect with our authentic self, learn how to live consistently true to the best of who we are and what matters most, and how we can always choose to act with integrity to our deepest held values in every moment, no matter what’s happening or what others may think of us.
In this way, we will discover an increasing sense of healthy self esteem, peace of mind and authentic happiness. Also, we will discover how living true to the best of who we are, allows for genuine openness and honesty in our interactions with others, and how this naturally improves all our relationships in time.
