Life can be challenging at times, no doubt! Yet, it’s also true that we can all get to a place (in time) where we don’t feel overwhelmed by, or fearful of, the inevitable difficulties we meet in life.

Each week, in this new series of drop-in weekly talks and guided meditations with Kadam Adam – which are suitable for everyone – we will explore how this is possible.

Yes, we can’t avoid the problems we meet in our lives, relationships and world. However, we can come to know that it is entirely possible to meet those difficulties head on, with increasing openness, acceptance, compassion and fearlessness.

As a result we will come to experience a growing freedom from the unhealthy stress, worry, anger, fear, negative self-talk and disharmony in relationships, they can all too often give rise to.

Each week, we will learn meditations and practises for daily life – that Buddha taught for everyone – to help us to discover and develop the innate capacity we all have to flex, accept and work through the difficulties we meet in life.

This approach has proven effective for centuries in helping anyone transform the adversity we meet in our days into a growing experience of peace of mind, inner strength and fearlessness. In this way, we can build the firm foundations of a genuinely peaceful, happy and fearless life.

Sep 7 –  A fearless life and how it’s possible, for everyone
Sep 14 – Moving beyond unhealthy stress, anger and fear
Sep 21 – Building fearlessness in adversity
Sep 28 – Fearless relationships, moving beyond conflict with others
Oct 5 – Wisdom and transforming fear into freedom

Note: Each class in the series is self-contained, so please feel free to attend the entire series or drop in to any class, any week. There’s also an opportunity to stay back for a cuppa and chat after class if you wish, in what’s always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

This class will be livestreamed for members.

    Resident Teacher at Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre in Dublin

    Kadam Adam Starr is the Resident Teacher of Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre, Dublin. He has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism and meditation for many years under the guidance of the fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

    Originally from Dublin, Kadam Adam has been teaching meditation and Kadampa Buddhism extensively in the UK and in Europe since 2004. He returned home to Ireland in 2017, where he has continued to teach throughout the country, as well as internationally. He teaches from the heart in a clear, warm and relaxed way, that is always practical and relevant for our times.
