The Science of Happiness

Is it possible to take a scientific approach to happiness and find the truly happy life we all want? Thankfully, Yes!

Science is simply a method to acquire insight into the way things are, and what’s possible, through repeated experimentation and observation.

In this series of drop-in classes with Kadam Adam – which are suitable for everyone – through talks and guided meditations, we will explore how, although science is generally associated with the study of the material world, Buddha taught meditation as an inner science, a method to explore our inner world and the potential of our mind, and through this fulfil our deepest wish for happiness.

Because happiness is a state of mind, we can come to know, it’s causes also come from the mind. In this series, we will learn how to meditate correctly, and improve the quality and strength of our mindfulness consistently.

Through this, we find a reliable (or scientific) method to let go of the habits of mind that give rise to unhappiness, and cultivate the peaceful, positive states of mind that lead to deep and stable peace and happiness.

In this way, through our own repeated experimentation we become our own inner scientist, and develop the confidence we have found a scientific approach to finding the happy life we all want.
