Free Public Talk at Dalkey Castle
Meditation & The Pursuit of Happiness
Discover the power of meditation and improving our mindfulness in daily life, to help everyone find a deeper and longer lasting inner peace, happiness and feeling of well-being in our days and lives.
In this free public talk with meditation teacher Kadam Adam at Dalkey Castle, we will explore how we all want to be happy and free from problems all the time. If we check, we devote almost all our time and energy to this pursuit. Yet, despite this, we can still feel something is missing in our lives at times, and that – despite all our efforts and external achievements – we are not finding the deep and lasting peace of mind, happiness and fulfilment on the inside that we all seek.
We will explore how meditation enables us to experience the potential for peace and happiness that lies within our minds. We will explore how we can all learn to meditate, improve our mindfulness and cultivate a new found, and growing sense of inner peace, inner resilience and genuine happiness to bring to all areas of our life, such as our relationships, work and so forth, from the “inside-out”.
In this way our pursuit of happiness becomes about finding ever increasing levels of contentment, fulfilment, joy and positive energy in our lives. The event will include a talk on this topic and a deeply relaxing guided meditation. Everyone is welcome.
This free talk will be followed by a five week series of drop in meditation classes at Dalkey Castle entitled ‘Training in Happiness’ with Kadam Adam, for those who might like to explore the topics and practices discussed in more depth. For details click here
