A Path to Peace & Happiness –
Lamrim Meditation Retreat

Enjoy a relaxing, inspiring and deeply meaningful start to the new year, on this special urban weekend Lamrim meditation retreat led by Kadam Adam, either in person at our new Kadampa meditation centre in Dublin or online. Discover how to connect to and fully actualise the limitless capacity – or potential – within our hearts for the development of good qualities such as love, compassion and wisdom.

Explore the special set of meditations and practises for daily life – known as Lamrim (stages of the path to enlightenment) – that have proven effective for centuries in enabling everyone to follow a step-by-step training, to fully actualise this innate potential for self transformation, and find deep and lasting peace of mind and happiness within. In this way, we discover how this training for daily life becomes of real benefit to ourselves and others.

The meditations will be based on the special presentation of the essential Lamrim meditations on the stages of the path to enlightenment, as presented in Geshe Kelsangs book ‘The Mirror of Dharma’.

About the retreat sessions

The retreat sessions include deeply peaceful and inspiring chanted Buddhist meditation prayers (in english), brief talks and guided meditations, to help us gain deep experience of each topic. You can either engage in the chanted meditation prayers if you wish, or just sit back, relax and enjoy listening to the peaceful chanting. As with all our events, you don’t have to be Buddhist to enjoy and benefit from this retreat.

You can attend sessions as suits your schedule either in person at our new Centre or via livestream. Recordings of sessions will be available for one week after the live sessions, so you can follow your own schedule online if you wish. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience. No need to bring anything, except a notebook and pen if you wish to take some notes. Dress code is whatever you’re comfortable in. Chairs provided for everyone.
