Everyone wants to be happy but we don’t always understand it is a choice we can make. Happiness is a state of mind, and like any positive state of mind we can learn how it can be strengthened through the practice of meditation. Therefore we can make a choice to be happy in our life by training in meditation. According to Buddha, authentic happiness does not depend upon amassing external conditions, such as wealth, beauty, status and so on, but rather its main ingredient is inner peace, and meditation is essential for developing inner peace and happiness. Join us for this meditation half day course with Kelsang Drolma and learn how to make yourself happy.

Kelsang Drolma is the local teacher for the Tara KMC branch in Cork. She is an ordained Buddhist nun and has taught in Ireland and the UK. She completed the STTP Special Training Programme in the main centre for the Kadampa Tradition MKMC. Drolma is well loved for her warm, clear, practical teachings. She teaches with a sense of humour really connecting with students, inspiring them to practice the teachings and apply them in their daily lives.
