Living Lightly (Cork)

In this experience everything becomes peaceful and comfortable, balanced and harmonious, joyful and wonderful….everything is equal in the peace of emptiness…” (Geshe Kelsang Gyatso)

Nothing in this world could be more meaningful, or spiritually helpful, than to explore Buddha’s teachings on emptiness, the true nature of reality. Why? Because it is only through deep familiarity with these teachings on ultimate truth that we can finally resolve all of our own problems – no matter how intractable they may now seem – and be of genuine benefit to others.

Our daily problems and struggles, which seem so solid and real, will disappear like last night’s bad dream when we apply Buddha’s teachings on emptiness – teachings which reveal the way things actually exist as opposed to the way they appear. The view of emptiness that reveals the dream-like nature of things teaches us that we can rise above our difficulties, gradually becoming more peaceful, flexible, and creative.

In this day course, Kelsang Drolma will explain how we can apply these profound teachings on a daily basis and transform our life and experiences with wisdom.  Come to discover for yourself, by practicing these teachings  what “living lightly” truly means.

Everyone is welcome.
