Join Kelsang Drolma on Monday 8 Sep , for this free public talk ‘An Introduction to Foundation Program’. In this talk – which is open to everyone – we will explore the benefits of participation in the weekly (Monday nights) Foundation Program in meditation and modern Buddhism.
Kelsang Drolma will also introduce everyone to the new book ‘How to Understand the Mind – The Nature & Power of the Mind’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, which we will be starting from Monday Sep 15. We will explore how this life changing book offers us deep insight into our mind, and shows how an understanding of its nature and functions can be used practically in every day experience to improve our lives. We learn how to let go of unhelpful states of mind, and increase happier, peaceful, more joyful states of mind. It is also a wonderful opportunity to meet as a group, enjoy each other’s company, share experiences and help each other.

Kelsang DrolmaLocal teacher for Tara KMC branch in CorkKelsang Drolma is the local teacher for the Tara KMC branch in Cork. She is an ordained Buddhist nun and has taught in Ireland and the UK. She completed the STTP Special Training Programme in the main centre for the Kadampa Tradition MKMC. Drolma is well loved for her warm, clear, practical teachings. She teaches with a sense of humour really connecting with students, inspiring them to practice the teachings and apply them in their daily lives.
