How to Understand Your Own Mind (Cork)
We underestimate the power of our mind. Our mind can turn even the most difficult and hopeless seeming situation into a beautiful opportunity for self-transformation and personal growth. Whether a situation is good or bad depends entirely on how we view it and use it, and in fact, one of Buddha’s deepest insights revealed how the mind reflects itself in what we see.
In this course with Kelsang Drolma, we will learn how our mind works so that we can abandon unhealthy self-sabotaging attitudes and learn to view everything in the most positive way, letting go of all our fears. In this way we will be able to joyfully embrace every aspect of our life.
Happiness and suffering are feelings – parts of our mind – and so their main causes are not to be found outside the mind.
If we really want to be truly happy and free from suffering, we must improve our understanding of the mind’.
