The Basics of Meditation

The purpose of meditation is to make your mind calm and peaceful.

If your mind is peaceful, you will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so you will experience true happiness; but if your mind is not peaceful, you will find it very difficult to be happy, even if you are living in the very best conditions.

In this 3 week course Kelsang Drolma will explain how to meditate and how to integrate the practice of meditation into daily life. On this course, discover for yourself the inner peace and happiness that naturally arises when your mind becomes still. Experience how this feeling of inner peace helps you to cope with the busyness and difficulties of daily life. You may find that many of your usual problems will fall away and you may feel warm and well disposed towards other people thereby improving your relationships.

This course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
