Resilience, Hope, Courage,
in difficult times

It’s true these are difficult times we live in. Yet, it is also true that it is possible to develop a consistent feeling of courage, hope and optimism about the future, no matter what challenges we face in our lives and world.

In this series of talks and guided meditations – with Kadam Adam – we will learn time honoured meditations and practices for daily life, that Buddha taught specifically for times like these, known as the ‘Training the Mind’ or ‘Lojong’ practises.

At the heart of these practices is learning how to transform our experience of the difficulties we meet in our day and world, into a training in inner growth and development.

We will learn how to let go of feelings of stress, overwhelm and so forth, as well as the excessive and often debilitating fixation on ourselves they can all too often generate, that naturally undermines our sense of self-esteem and feeling of connection with others.

Instead, we will learn how to live from a growing experience of inner peace, genuine happiness, resilience and the courage to live our best life, no matter what’s happening in our day or world, as well as a deeper sense of connection, love and compassion for those we share our life with.

Apr 26 – Living with resilience, hope and courage in difficult times
May 03 – How to upgrade our peace and happiness, and how it helps everyone else
May 10 – The courage to love, and the key to living our best life
May 17 – Developing authentic self-esteem
May 24 – Surfing life’s difficulties, cultivating resilience
May 31 – How to deepen our connection with, and love for others
Jun 07 – Improving our lives and world through fearless compassion

The Art of Letting Go

Imagine a day or indeed a life, free of stress, anger, anxiety, fear, negativity and self-criticism. Whilst we may feel this is impossible today, in truth it can become a possibility for everyone, more and more, day-by-day.

In this series of talks and guided meditations – with Kadam Adam – Discover the deep peace of mind, emotional freedom and genuine happiness that comes from learning – and in time mastering – the art of letting go.

Each week, we will explore meditations and practises for daily life, that will enable us to recognise, reduce and let go of particular unhealthy or unhelpful states of mind, that can all too often burden our minds, leaving us feeling mentally, emotionally and energetically depleted and discouraged.

We will also explore the power of developing and maintaining a wisdom based, peaceful, positive perspective on life and the challenges we meet, that enables us to gradually become free of all unhealthy emotions and states of mind such stress, fear, anger and so forth.

In this way, we will come to experience a deep and stable experience of inner peace, happiness and positive energy that cannot be disturbed by changing external conditions.

Apr 28 – The freedom and joy of learning to let go
May 05 – Letting go of anger and resentment, the freedom of acceptance
May 12 – Letting go of craving, attachment and distraction, finding true happiness
