Simply Meditate, at Lunchtime

Take a peaceful break from your day, and enjoy these deeply relaxing guided meditations and brief advice on how to maintain that sense of inner calm, peace of mind and positive energy throughout your day. In this way we can return to our day with a calm, clear and peaceful mind, feeling genuinely refreshed and re-energised for the rest of the day ahead.

Whether we are looking forward to spending quality time with family and friends, or on our own this holiday season, we also know it can be a somewhat stressful and tiring experience for many.

In this series of drop-in meditation classes with Kadam Adam – which are suitable for everyone – we will explore how we can all transform our experience of this period, so that we have a genuinely peaceful, happy Christmas and deeply enjoy our time with others, from the inside-out!

We will explore proven meditations and practices for daily life to continually improve our qualities of love, gratitude, kindness and generosity. In this way, not only can we have a genuinely peaceful and happy Christmas, we will also set ourselves up in the best possible way to enjoy our life and relationships in the year ahead.

Meditation for Daily Life

Our Meditation for Daily Life series provides practical advice on how everyone can learn to meditate. For beginners it will offer guidelines on how to begin a daily meditation practice. This series will also allow those with previous experience develop and deepen their existing practice. We will learn meditations to relax body and mind and achieve inner peace and mental clarity. Through this experience, we will develop an inner resilience in the face of life’s challenges and a kind and patient attitude towards others

This series also consists of advice on how to integrate our meditation into our busy daily life. We will explore how meditation is not confined to our meditation session; it can permeate our whole life. Seeing how our meditation practice effects our external activities, which in turn affect our meditation, we can learn to create a positive cycle without any gap between meditation and daily life.
 
This Wednesday evening class is a perfect opportunity to pause, meditate and refresh midweek. Everybody is welcome.    

How to increase
Positive Energy

A combination of the onset of the dark and cold winter nights, as well as the everyday challenges we face in our lives and world at the moment, can all too easily leave us feeling energetically depleted, and mentally and emotionally burdened at times.

The good news is, we can come to discover that we all have a natural reservoir of pure energy, peace and joy that we can learn to tap into whenever we want.

In this mini-series of drop-in meditation classes with Kadam Adam – which are suitable for everyone – we will explore simple, yet powerful meditations that have proven effective for centuries to enable anyone to tap into these innate inner resources and thereby boost our energy, peace and joy.

We will also explore skilful ways of thinking that will enable us to cultivate a genuinely peaceful, positive and flexible outlook on life, no matter what the weather!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

These sixty minute drop-in meditation classes offer a perfect opportunity to take some time out, relax into our Sunday mornings, focus on our inner well-being, and set ourselves up in the best possible way, for the week ahead. Each session will include a deeply relaxing guided meditation, as well as practical and inspiring insights – that Buddha taught – to help us access, develop confidence in, and actualise, our innate potential for great peace, joy and fulfilment in our lives, from the inside-out.

Our weekly in-person classes are suitable for beginners and those with more experience of meditation & mindfulness training. Don’t worry if you miss the start of a series, as each class is self-contained.

Walk-ins are welcome. You can pay at the door (cash/card) or book online in advance. If you book online, just bring along your booking receipt on your phone or on paper. 

We are a registered charity run entirely by volunteers, no-one receives a salary. The funds we receive are used to pay for our operating expenses. We appreciate that current times are financially challenging for some. If you have difficulty affording our fees please get in touch to discuss a concession. Email here.
