A wonderful way to greatly enhance the learning process is to come and visit the Buddhist Centre. This brings to life children’s understanding of Buddhism and the activities both lay Buddhists and ordained monks and nuns engage in.
The visits are designed to engage the children, with many practical activities such as meditation, offerings, prostrations, drama, listening to a prayer, making a mandala offering, drawing and much more. Time is also made for all their many questions.
The sessions can be tailored to the levels, attainment targets and specific subjects you wish to cover, and we can provide a follow-up pack of activities and information so the fun can continue once you return to school.
For a look at the lesson plan we can offer, contact us and we can email it to you.
Alternatively, we can visit your school to talk to your students at a time that is convenient for you.
